Discovering the History of Your House on Ancestry
The big difference between genealogy and house history research is that we only want to trace the homeowners when they lived in the home. We don't trace them from generation to generation. The only exception to that is if a family lives in the same home for multiple generations. Sometimes you might even find a house that is owned by the same family for over 200 years. It's rare, but it can happen.
